Danny Howland, also known as SVDDEN DEATH, VOYD and MASTERHAND, is a bass music artist based in Los Angeles, California. SVDDEN DEATH creates dubstep, electronica and downtempo.
In 2018, Howland debuted his self release VOYD Vol. I, introducing the VOYD character, a horned deity capable of flight, before releasing a 2019 remix album/continuation entitled VOYD Vol. 1.5.
On 18 March 2022 Howland released VOYD Vol. II, after teasing the feature length EP with a browser game (now taken down) named after the first full track on the release, Maze Of Punishment.
Seattle, Washington-based artist Schaffer Brady, known professionally as 7blackblades, currently works as SVDDEN DEATH and VOYD's creative director.
Howland uses He/Him pronouns.
